Chinese calligraphy, ink paintings, and the fluidity of ink inspire this collection. I want to create a collection highlighting my appreciation for ink for all it’s worth hence ‘Inkworth’. There’s a transformative thought process happening when “Ideas” are transformed into “Written Words”. It’s fascinating how Ink became a predominant medium globally, by brush, by pen, by printing press. Although deceptively simple as an art medium on the surface, ink facilitated the spread of literary works, art, knowledge, and creative ideas. Ink grew and evolved with human history, and will continue to grow with humans as we forge on towards the future.
